Nursing tops

Hi everyone! Not sure if this is a good group to post this in. I'm expecting my second baby in April, and this time, I'm going to make more of an effort to breastfeed (last baby didn't latch so I exclusively pumped). I'm wondering if I should buy some nursing tops, but not sure if it's really necessary or if it's not a big deal to just put your baby under your shirt to feed them. No clue at all! Should I buy nursing tops? Do you find them necessary? I don't want to buy them and find out I do just fine with the shirts I own! Haha. I do have nursing bras, so I'm all set there.
