Internal?

Hey mommas to bed just wondering I had a csection previously due with baby number 2 in 5 weeks. Does the dr normally do a internal to see if you are dilated even if you have a scheduled csection?!. Thanks

I wouldn't think so unless you just wanted to know. I was checked at the hospital the other day but I was hooked up to the monitor and it was showing I was having contractions. Other than that I see no reason why i need to be checked. I'm having a repeat csection.

My OB did yesterday at my 35 week appointment. He was swabbing for group be strep so I don’t know if he will continue to do it every appointment till the Csection or just did yesterday since he was already there.

My dr asks if you’re just curious to know, not sure if that’s true everywhere but you could always ask if you want checked :)
