What temperature should you take your child to the doctor?

My daughter is just shy of 12 months old. She woke up about an hour ago with 102.1 degree fever. I gave her motrin & a bottle. She is now asleep in my arms. At what temperature do I take her to the doctor? She drank a bottle fine and was acting as normal as a baby does in the middle of the night.

My doctor says take them in if it reaches 104, won’t go down with a fever reducer, or lasts longer than 3 days

Mine says if it's over 100.4 but under 103 for 24 hours to call or if it gets over 103 to call right away. Or if medication doesnt bring the fever down to also get in asap. So you can go in if you want or you're probably ok to wait a day or two to see if it resolves on its own.

If she’s acting normal then I’d wait and call the pediatrician in the morning.
