I've been speaking to a guy for about a week now and last night we met up for the first time after not seeing each other for about 11years. It was a really nice night, planned a second date and he walked me home at the end and we kissed. He messaged me immediately and we texted back and forth throughout the night. He eventually sent me a message saying "I love you." I just got out of a 6year relationship about 4 months ago and it's obviously way to soon for us to be talking about love here. It's nice to hear but it made me feel a little awkward and I'm not sure how to go about telling him that yes I do like him but it's way too soon. I dont want to move to fast. I also worry about getting into something too quick because my ex still loves me and I dont want to hurt him (even though he cheated on me which ended the relationship.) We have a child together and I'm always going to care for him as the father of our daughter but the relationship is completely finished.
