How many teeth?

My little man has 7 but I have noticed that he has a gap in the two on top. It doesn't look like a normal gap, like he has a lip tie that was unnoticed this whole time. It would explain some of the breastfeeding issues we had. 
I can't get a good picture but I just wanted to know how many teeth you babies have if any!

My oldest son had the same skin (frenum) between his front teeth connecting to his upper lip. We also struggled with breast feeding.  As his teeth grew, the gap shrunk and basically pushed the skin away. I guess it depends on how think it is, but as your child gets older the dentist may choose to do a frenectomy (removing that excess skin).
I would address your concerns when you bring your little on into the dentist.

My oldest had one and he busted it when he was a toddler. It eventually closed. The top pic is 2.5 years old and the bottom is 10 yrs old. He has my big top teeth so it’s slightly more noticeable.

It goes away as they grow. They need room in their mouth as they get bigger and get more teeth.

Majority of babies have a gap like this I was concerned at first being a FTM but my health visitor reassured me that it’s normal. If you are concerned though get a medical professionals opinion it will ease your worries about it ☺️
