My son is almost 9 months old and has no teeth yet. This last week or so he’s been incredibly irritable and screams constantly for seemingly no reason. He’s fed, sleeping fairly well (13 hours at night, 2 naps of 30-90 min each), and doesn’t have a fever (his temp is slightly higher than normal, but only minor. It’s around 98 degrees instead of his normal 97.2) or any other issues to report. I’ve tried feeling for teeth and but he hates it and I’m the only one home most times so it’s hard because he squirms and I don’t want to drop him. When he opens his mouth the bottom of his gums where the first teeth should come through looks lighter pink, almost white. I tried to take a picture to get a second opinion but he wouldn’t let me so I took a coupe screen caps from a video I recorded of him at lunch. Does anyone have any opinions? I know they’re not good quality pictures buuut, I’m not sure why else he’d be cranky like this!? Ima FTM and my family has said he’s been teething since two months so they’re no help in figuring this out.
