Dinner time?

What time do you feed your little ones dinner and what time do they go to bed?
We don't get home until 5:30/6PM and bedtime is 7:30PM.
He only wants to play with us when we get home (understandably) but I'm not sure what time is too late to start dinner.

Get home 430. Dinner 5. Bed 630 with asleep by 7. I typically make a big batch of something on Sundays like meatballs or pot pie that we can pair with a fruit or veg and heat up quickly and give her all week

Whatever works best for you and your babe. Our little lady is hangry constantly and is usually standing in the kitchen screaming at us for food.. we shoot to eat by 6 and bedtime is 7-7:30. She usually snacks from 5 until dinner, eats, has another snack after dinner in her high chair and then snacks more until bedtime... and somehow she is still tiny. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I usually feed leftovers from the night before to my LO at 5:30 when I get home so were done eating and in the tub by 6. Either me or my husband will do bath time at 6 while the other cooks. Supper is cooked and baby is bathed by 6:30ish so we’ll give him a few after dinner snacks (cereal in a play skillet so he pretends to cook so we can eat) or our food if he wants it. Then we play until 7:30. Our boy loves this routine because we have a little while to play💙 hope this helps!

We usually have dinner by 6pm and start bedtime routine around 6:45- 7. Since I’m typically home from work before my husband, I try to get in as much play/cuddle time right before dinner and my husband does the same immediately after dinner. Usually my son is so exhausted after that, he’s ready to pass out right after his bath.
