Milk coming out too fast or too much?

Question

My baby is chocking on my milk. I pumped close to 1oz to see if that would help but no luck. I started pumping. Is it because I started pumping ? I started pumping to try to increase my milk supply. 
What do I do so milk doesn’t come out so much?  My baby doesn’t even want to try latching on anymore. She doesn’t trust it. I have to keep forcing it on her and when she tries she cries. 
I press on the nipple and it shoots out a little squirt. 💦💦💦

Sounds like you have a fast let down. 
Are you pumping for a reason? 
You don’t really need to pump to get your supply up. If you don’t have enough baby will let you know by cluster feeding to tell your boobs to make more. 
Try buying a haakaa and catching your let down before baby goes on. That way you can still freeze your milk as well to use in food when you eventually start weaning x

Try different positions like laying down or having baby lay on you so gravity helps negate the forceful let down a bit.  Google to see what other positions might work too!

I have a fast let down and my son would choke when he was little. As he got older he’s able to manage. It got progressively better for him. He’s 10 months now with no issues.

My kiddo had same issue with my letdown. If need be express some milk  by hand first, then start bf with bub.

Sounds like forceful letdown. However, I will say even without forceful letdown my baby chokes on my milk sometimes. Even now at 6 months old. One of the things google says is to do what you did and get some of those initial squirts out into something else and then try your baby latching. Good luck!
