So scared please read

I'm i am 40 w 2 d. My due date was January 30 th. On January 30 th I woke up to a toothache out of no where. Called midwife and she said call dentist. Called dentist he said needed okay to treat from midwife. Went yesterday on the 31st with mild swelling on face to midwife she printed out a note for okay to treat and went to dentist. They won't do root canal or tooth extraction because of how far along I am. Put me on amoxicillin. Got home at 5 yesterday took first amoxicillin. Face continued to swell. I am taking them every 8 hours as prescribed. Woke up this morning with a lot of swelling. . . I know the dentist said it can take 24/48 hours for antibiotics to start bringing swelling down but I'm so scared. I'm scared for my baby and for me. I can't even believe this is happening to me. Midwife was concerned about me going into labor with this condition.

Has anyone gone through this or had even this infected of a tooth ? Or just some words of encouragement? I'm so scared and in pain
