**TMI** Plug or just discharge??

38+2 weeks...is this bits of my plug coming away? It’s really thick and sticky like glue, I’ve had it on and off for about a week now. I’ve got no symptoms of me having any uti’s or nothing... I was in hospital just over a week ago with contraction like pain and mild tightenings. Midwife done an internal and said I was about 1 to 2cm dilated but couldn’t say wether I was in active labour or not as this is my second baby and sometimes the cervix can be like that still 🤔 I’m still getting tightenings and pain but don’t really know the difference between braxton hicks or proper labour 😫 this pregnancy feels so different to my last!! Any advice is appreciated 😊
