Help/tips😭😭😭

(Im female) So me and my best friend are like hella close to daiting, technically are just without the tittle and pda etc, he has a quick temper and does freak about about things here and there but everyone keeps telling me i can do better and need to find somebody else... I love him with all of my heart but i could never hurt him like that. Sometimes i do think about breaking it off with him but i dont see anyone who is "better" then him and i dont want to lose him to somebody else but i love him... Any tips?
