First scan?

Hey mummas  
I am almost 13 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 but haven’t had an ultrasound yet. Is that normal? I can’t for my life remember how it worked 2 years ago with my first one... 
Im hanging out until I’ve seen the baby or at least heard a heart beat to announce the pregnancy. TIA

I got my first ultra sound when my HCG levels reached to 5,000 or more. When I went in I was 8weeks + 4 days but actually measured 7+ 4. Me second ultrasound was when I was 12 weeks

I’ve seen this massively effects your care and how many scans you have etc x

Normally you would do a dating scan or an NT screening around 12 weeks, but I know I almost missed mine because the doctor's weren't very aggressive about scheduling it. Assuming you've heard the heartbeat, there's no reason you can't wait until the 20 week anatomy UT.
