hey girls! i have bleached hair right now and i’ve been wanting to try a walmart box dye on my hair, i was wondering if the color will stay or if it’ll just strip off?

Stay away from bix dye.Forst and foremost these boxes arent meant to go w an individuals hair..they can burn your hair off..I saw it happen w a girl at cosmotology schiol..she had healthy not bleached hair n she had to go to the ER n cut her hair almost bald.W bleach u habe to be so careful bc u can fry your hair off quick. I didnt read your whole post just saw bleach n box n it s a No please No.Some cosmotology schools will do a color correction bc it sounds like that's what u may want.Some will not but it s much much much cheaper at a school n the teacher has to advise n checkninnw the student so it s safe.

Depends how much did u bleach it. 
* I m not hairdresser but i wanna share what i ve learned from hairdressers* it s gonna be long but yea.. hairdressers are welcome to correct me
So if it is white/pale yellow then it s not gonna stay on ur hair - color will go in ur hair and then just run out when u wash ur hair.  
If it s yellow then it s the best to dye it blonde but u can color it in warm blonde colors - if u re into warm tones or u can color with natural blonde. U can also tone it with toner but that will wash out in few weeks. I dont think u can go platinum from that or silver/grey and maybe u can go like light ash blonde but be careful with that. Also u are able from that yellow go to blue,red,orange etc. But not black!! (It might work but just dont- and yes i ve seen people bleaching hair to actually go back to dark 🙈). In case u want brown or black, in that yellow fase, u need to color ur hair orange so the pigment in hair is back and then that dark color is less likely to fade or give u some color u dont want.  
If it s orange-yellow then u can put only colors from maybe level 7 to 5 but if it s too brassy or u want blonde then u need to bleach only the parts that are orange, other yellow parts do not touch. Also if it s not box bleach then use 20-30 volume developer but dont let it sit longer than 30min and check ur hair here and there so u get idea of what s going on.
If it s orangish then just bleach it again - for blonde or if u want brown and black then u re free to color it 
Try to use colors without amonia cz ur hair will get dry and get split ends. It also might break in half and it can fall of if u have too strong developer or left bleach for too long. When applying bleach - don t put it on roots first and first begin from the back of ur head. The best is if someone else is doing that cz then they can see if there are some missed spots. Make sure always when coloring or bleaching that u have enough color/bleach so that it s full saturated. And dont apply heat with hairdryer cz then process stops. 
When coloring u should always consider tones and level of hair color, for example: 5.30 7.00 6.1 etc.
6.1 stands for 6 - dark blonde 1- ash tone ( meaning it has some green/cool tones) - look it up on internet u have it all explained

Every color has an undertone and sometimes box color is green. With ore lightened hair when coloring to a darker color often if your hair is really light it requires "filling" if you want to color with his my suggestion is to try to veer away from anything that has a cool undertone  and go for something a bit warmer.
