did anyone here go to school for interior designing?

I’m 22.. work full time.. I’ve been thinking about going to school for interior design.. idk where to start and if it’ll even be worth it since we live in such a small town.. any tips / experience please share it with me!

I knew a girl who did and she couldn't find a job in the field.   She ended up working as a pharmacy technician.

Personally I don’t think it’s be worth Theo way or tome because you’d have an extremely difficult time finding a job. Interior designers aren’t really used that often unless you manage to land a job working for like hgtv where they are used on a show lol. Because how many People do you know would actually hire an interior designer for their house

My family owns a construction company and we contract with interior designers. But, they have been doing it forever, own store fronts and sell their products. They do say they have a very specific client market (billionaires essentially) and hotels. The average person is going to use things like pinterest and bloggers for inspiration which all the designers I know hate lol

I have a friend who’s in school for interior decorating. She’s almost done and plans to move to New York when she graduates.
