How long did you wait before having sex in a relationship?

I’ve been talking to a guy for 2 months, he finally told me yesterday that he plans on just focusing on me and later on asked me whether I was a virgin or not (I am not). I kind of want to hold off on going all the way sexually until our relationship is more defined but I am okay with doing everything else until that happens. How long do y’all normally wait?
