Breast feeding and bottle?

Currently just had my baby this past Friday and I’ve been breastfeeding but my boobs are so full and I pump so much so I was curious if my husband started giving him a bottle sometimes this early on will he still want the boob? First time mom and still learning with breastfeeding 😅

Experts recommend you wait until 6-8 weeks to introduce a bottle to prevent nipple confusion. We gave my daughter a bottle for the first time when she was 3 days old and she had trouble switching between breast and bottle. Everyone’s experience is different, but that’s mine.

I am breastfeeding and after three days when my milk came in we had enough breast milk for a bottle. She got one on day three and takes bottles like a champ. She’s three weeks old and has one bottle of breast milk every few days. We haven’t had an issue with breastfeeding on bottle feeding 😇 
Every baby is different just go with your gut.
