IUD opinion?

I just had my first baby a month ago and have my postnatal appointment in a couple weeks and my doctor is highly recommending the IUD for birth control. I personally know someone who had an IUD horror story so it makes me a little nervous. Do you have one? Thoughts?

I had one before I had my son and I got one after I had my son.. and I will get one after I have this baby.
Honestly for me, it’s the best birth control option. I had zero side effects.... I had no period the whole time and it was no maintenance.

I love mine. I got it 6 weeks pp and my body almost immediately got use to it. No spotting and regular periods on time give or take a day or two. No issues with it. I got the mirena.
