Hcg rising

So on Thursday 1/30, I got my first positive pregnancy test. According to Glow, I was 3-4 days late for my period but I had a stomach bug before that and thought it just delayed things. No big deal. Well after I got the positive test, I got bloodwork done to check my numbers since my first pregnancy I miscarried. For being about 4w3d, my hcg level was pretty low, at only 66.

I thought about it over the weekend because they weren’t open during the weekend. I retested on Saturday and my line got much darker so I took that as a positive sign but still slightly reserved. Today I went in and my numbers rose to 500 something in 4 days which means it doubled in about 32-ish hours which is amazing!

The downside to all of this, is we were not trying. We were trying to avoid pregnancy until October/November time because we are hoping to move cross country in the spring of next year and didn’t want a new baby or to be too far pregnant. So now we are trying to figure out how to fit a 3rd baby into a 2 bedroom small rental house, what vehicle we are going to replace my Toyota Corolla with, and how we are going to do this financially and mentally. Our oldest is 5.5 and our youngest just turned 1 last week.

Anyone else kind of not totally on board with this pregnancy yet? I’m very much pro life and will obviously love this baby and welcome them into our family with so much love and enjoyment, it’s just not what we had planned and going to be rather difficult at this stage. And my husband is not totally on board as well 😔
