AFP test results-freaking out

I am freaking out I went for my AFP (spina bifida) test..the results came back elevated 2.79 MoM so they wanted to do a retest..results came back still elevated at 2.53 MoM. They want it to be under 2.5...i’m trying to stay hopeful since the results of the second test were closer to normal but i’m just so worried..going for an ultrasound tomorrow....Has anyone had this experience and baby was fine? or if your baby was born with spina bifida what was that like? Trying to mentally prepare myself...
