Pregnancy Finances

We are pregnant with our first and i’m really overwhelmed with planning out finances.

We live paycheck to paycheck so i’m trying to imagine how this will work when baby arrives and I need to at least take some time off work...

I started my job in October and I read in CA you need to work somewhere at least a year to even receive maternity leave benefits.

How do other couples go about this?
