SS card replacement online ??

Question

I recently posted how I need a new SS card but can’t go to DPS because I need a new birth certificate as well because my mom lost them when we were moving and someone stole our moving van from the storage place. 
I wasn’t born in the state I live in so getting a new BC is way harder rn. The point of the post is to ask have any of you got a replacement done online & if so what website ? I ran across SSA.Gov but I want to make sure it’s safe.

Birth certificates can be ordered online.
However, a SS card cannot be. You have to get that in person at a social security office.

SSA.gov is the actual social security administration website. I don’t think you can order a new card online because you have to bring two pieces of identity with you to the SSA office. I believe your photo ID & birth certificate are required to be shown to order a new SS card. Birth certificates can be ordered on line I do believe though.

The ones saying you can’t order a new ss card online are 100% completely false. You can 100% request a new ss card online. I just had to do it back in September/October when I had accidentally replaced mine and am unable to get to the social security office. If documentation is required, you can mail it in, but I didn’t have to provide anything and they 100% sent it to me in the mail.

I just got my SS by requesting online. Apparently it’s a new feature. Just sign up on MySS account on their government site and it’ll give you an option to replace a lost one. One is mailed within 5-7 days. I received mine within a week.

I didn’t need a bitch certificate for a ss card. I actually just got my birth certificate a few weeks ago. If you’ve never had a ss card before it’s a whole process but a replacement card is very easy. I think I just needed my ID
