Eating terribly at 14w pregnant

So all I crave is terrible stuff. I still have nausea and bad headaches (I don’t throw up and then I’m constipated so I feel like I’m just retaining everything) so nothing ever sounds good but we end up just getting fast food and obviously after I don’t feel amazing but the thought of other things just doesn’t fly.

I also crave sour/hot candy and can’t stop eating it.

I feel awful cause I feel so heavy and I feel like I’m being terrible to my baby.

Has anyone else had this problem? Does stomaching things get easier as the pregnancy goes on?

I want to start eating healthier again but struggling so much.

Should I just not give into the cravings I have? Should I force myself to eat healthier things instead of just what sounds decent at the time?

Any advice is appreciated! FTM here and I feel so bad about it :(

It will get easier and your cravings will change. But try your hardest to eat some healthy things too. I actually crave sausage McMuffins all of the time and do splurge every once in a while, but like today I really wanted one but wouldn’t allow myself because it’s just not healthy. Or like right now... I wanted ice cream or brownies but settled for a banana with peanut butter. So don’t feel bad if you give in to even the really un healthy food, but just make healthy decisions too.

I ate horribly with both pregnancies 🤷🏻‍♀️ I ate whatever I wanted. Hot Cheetos, mcdonalds, spicy wings, subway, hot dogs always lol. Ice cream, donuts, sour patch kids 🙃🤣

Omg lol I’m glad it’s more normal to not eat super healthy. I wish I could eat healthier but all I crave is just NOT healthy lol

I hope so! I keep trying but I always end up going for chick fil a nuggets or take out... nothing sounds good to eat and I'm so tired I dont want to cook. Good luck girl!!

I had no desire for health foods in the beginning so I ate whatever moderately..but def ate what I wanted and then I was able to start to eat fruit and veg and healthier options. It’s normal. Eat how you want just make sure you’re being active or something to help to not gain too too much

Haha I hear ya. What helped me was Olive Garden. Their salad is so good and I was like yum chicken parm and that salad sounds good and I was able to ease into salads again lol

Don’t give into the cravings. The more crap you eat the more likely your child will eat like crap. I would love to eat fast food and chocolate all the time. But I eat salads and Thai food and Indian and Mexican. All homemade and absolutely healthy and delicious.

That’s not true. Don’t shame her! She should eat what she craves at first and then when the morning sickness eases up then she can integrate healthier choices.
