Improvements in sex life

Okay, so I’d like to improve my sex life. I literally stopped my bf while we were having sex because I wasn’t stimulated. Here’s the thing: I want my bf to sort of take charge during sex. But he’ll talk sometimes talk & ask how do things feel and it kinda turns me off (we’ve had convos about this & what turns me on before). I’ve had slightly more experience with sex than him but he’s also the first person to make me orgasm. Idk yall, help. We’ve been together 3 years btw.
