I dont want to do transvaginal u/s. When is the best time to go then? 7 weeks can they see sac from ultrasound?

May I ask why you don’t want to do a transvaginal one? There’s going to be tons of doctors and nurses seeing your vagina during delivery...... even at 12 weeks they’ve had to do a transvaginal one it really depends on your baby and the visibility. You can’t go to long without going to the doctors.

You will see baby much more clearly and also hear a heart beat much earlier with a transvaginal ultrasound. You are covered with a towel and they only look briefly to make sure they get the wand in the right spot before inserting. There’s no pain or anything like that and any discomfort disappears the second you see your baby ❤️ (a Pap smear is way worse haha) 
 
If for whatever reason you do not want to go down this road you can wait until 10-12 weeks where they can see okay via your pelvis/tummy. However remember you’re pregnant, you are going to have sooooo many people looking, poking, prodding, staring into your vagina more times than you can count. May as well get used to it early on! Pregnancy is going to strip you of any comfort and dignity, but it’s all going to be totally worth it ❤️

After 10 weeks as earlier than that should only be for medical reasons since there is a possible risk to the foetus before that point so unnecessary scans should be avoided. If there are no issues then it’s best to just wait until your NT scan at around 12 weeks and then. You only need 2, maybe 3 ultrasound scans during pregnancy (assuming that you’re not declining testing and if you are then you only really need one or even none at all) unless there are concerns. There’s no need to rush and congrats! :) x

I still got a TV ultrasound as far along as 14 weeks. And none was done at my anatomy scan to check my cervix. There is no harm in a tv ultrasound. And they're not terribly uncomfortable either. I'd rather have 12 of those than one pap smear!

In both pregnancies so far I’ve never had a transvaginal. My first ultrasounds were at 9 weeks each time.
That being said I’ve had transvaginal ultrasounds in the past when looking for cysts, they’re really not a big deal. You’re pregnant now, things are gonna be down there and people are gonna be seeing a lot more of you than just the ultrasound tech sees over the next 9 months

I had an abdominal ultrasound at my 9 week dating scan as baby was big enough. But at my anatomy scan at 19 weeks I had abdominal and transvaginal because that was what was needed to see my cervix and placenta because of how baby was sitting. It’s really no big deal

It’s not as uncomfortable as it seems. My ultrasound tech didn’t even look under the sheet. She just put it where it needed to go and we got it all going! 
There are benefits to doing the transvaginal one. For example, she did mine and my little squishy was so cute and the heart was beating away! She was checking my ovaries and everything and needed a different angle so she did the abdominal one. When she moved it over the part where the baby was... it was so small you could barely see it. I’m glad I got the transvaginal one Bc we could see the little baby so perfectly! Here’s my baby at 8 weeks.

I had a normal scan through bell tub at 10 weeks. And they measured the baby took pictures and all that.
