This is a serious question as this is my first STI so I’m a bit unfamiliar with retest info. Please be respectful if you comment.

Answer

I know you can test for Chlamydia and Gonorrhea effectively with urine. I think you can also test for trich but it might not be as accurate as getting an actual vaginal swab. Might as well get swabbed and know for sure it’s been treated so it’s not being spread back to you and others, or make another trip to come back in a third time because the urine was inconclusive.
