Bleeding after sex. Like A LOT

I’ve been having issue when I’m having sex. It does hurt a little but that pain doesn’t bother me and I almost enjoy it actually. But I work up this morning with a full/overflowing bloody pad. I can’t tell if I’m still on my period because my birth control is the worse (I’m bleeding nearly every two weeks for two weeks). I’m getting an iud soon, should I just talk to my gyno then? My current bc made my sex drive incredibly low so it’s hard to get wet and horny so I think that’s why I’m bleeding.
