How did you feel when you quit a job?

I just quit my job in education and wanted to know if anyone else has had a sense of relief, just like I do?

The day I quit one job was the first day I didn’t cry in over a year. I have also felt absolutely nothing when I have left other jobs, and excitement when I have left others. Depends on the job.

Relieved, but at the same time and as time went by regret bc what am I supposed to do now when it comes to employment.. unless employment is something easy for you to find in your area.

I'm not sure if it's the same as quitting a job, but I left the army at the end of my contract instead of reenlisting. Once I had my daughter I decided not to reenlist because I did want to be deployed again and miss a year of her life. I felt very relieved when I was finally  out. That was 8 years ago and I still think it was the right move for me but I also miss the army at the same time.
