Almost time!

I went in for my weekly appointment, I’m 37w4d I’m almost 4cm dilated and 75% effaced! Doctor had me do an NST test and baby is doing good and I was getting some mild contractions at the time, but not enough to send me to L&D. She said I should be okay going home.

I live 2 and a half hours away from the hospital, I’m afraid I won’t make it back up in time if I start getting stronger contractions tonight/tomorrow so we decided to stay the night but I feel so sad to be leaving my 1 and a half year old at home with grandma. I’m just so emotional 😭

Also just hoping I go into labor tonight so we can finally meet our baby girl and get to go home and be a family of 4 ❤️

What have others experiences been with being at this point in early labor and then going into active labor?

I’m planning to go walking around the mall for a couple hours and then sex with hubby later to see if we get things going 🤞🏻
