My Birth Story💜

So I’ve never posted my birth story’s and I would like to share.

May 16th 2017, at 10:00 pm I started having contractions so I layed down to get some sleep because I could feel it was gonna be a rough night . Around 2:30 am the contractions woke me up . They were so intense . I called my dad and we rushed to the hospital , it was a 25 minute drive but we finually made it . Soon as we got there I went straight to triage and she checked me and I was 3cm dilated so she went ahead and admitted me, I have a history or crazy fast labors. They had me signing papers , as if I wasn’t in full blown labor( that’s hard thing to do). We went around the corner from triage to a room and soon as I got there I layed there for 5 minutes and then got the sudden urge of having to pee. Soon as I sat on the toilet my water broke, and man did it gush like a water fall. With my daughter it trickled like I was peeing myself so I was very surprised . I layed back on the bed and my contractions were so intense and I started throwing up. I told the nurses I needed to push. She checked me and I was 10 cm. They said okay u can push the doctor is on the way. I got the suddden urges to push and I did . My nurses was so supportive even tho they was watching me like I was some crazy person because I dilated so fast . After his head come out they made me stop pushing . His umbilical cord was wrapped around his neck and he swallowed maconium . Trying not to push when u have the urge is so miserable and hard ! Soon as I pushed that last time it felt like he flew out and they let me look at him for 2 seconds and took my baby boy straight to the nursery. Soon as I got in there to him 4 hours later they had my baby hooked up to all kinds of machines. My labor was all natural and lasted about an hour and a half all together . I only pushed for 20 minutes or less so I feel pretty blessed that I didn’t tear with either child . Hopefully with this baby I’ll have a fast labor like the first two.
