I was sceptical about doing birth photography but my cousin is getting into photography and asked if Id want her to and for her I said yes and am so thankful I did. We were like sisters growing up so having her in the room was never an issue just thought it was kinda weird. But this moment was by far the best moment of my life. For those few moments when I knew she was out and on my chest for the first time all the pain was gone and my heart filled with more love and joy I could ever imagine possible. It is so empowering knowing I created her, grew her for 9 months, and birthed her into this world. All the pain, prodomal labor, the scary moments when things werent going in the right direction, the swollen feet, even the pain now all of it is so worth it. And to watch my fiance become such an amazing dad tops it all off.
