Melatonin and IUD's?!

So I very recently found out that melatonin can affect how well your birth control works and I never knew that!

I've been using melatonin a lot lately since my schedule makes me work a different time everyday but now I'm panicked.

Will melatonin affect my IUD at all or does it only apply to the pill??(since they use different hormones depending on what brand of the pill)
