Breastfeeding/pumping
So my baby is almost 2 weeks. Right now she’s cluster feeding a lot so she always seems EXTREMELY hungry 😩. I feed her on one boob and pump on the other bcs one of my nipples are too big for her right now & the lactation consultant told me she’d have to grow into it. PLUS my baby doesn’t like the nipple shield. She’ll feed for 10-15 mins each time. Then I pump on the other boob for as long as she ate on the other. My question is... when I pump for the same amount of time that I fed her is that the amount of milk that she’s received from the boob that I strictly breastfeed on? I know she’s still a newborn, but I’m just worried about if she’s receiving enough milk or not.
