What date to tell OB of pregnancy

Hi! So I know the OB asks for the date of the start of the last menstrual cycle for estimated due dates. My cycles are irregular - anywhere from 28-36 days. We just moved and I haven’t developed such a close relationship that she knows about my irregular cycles. I’ve been using the clear blue ovulation predictor kits so based off that I know when I had high and peak fertility during this cycle. I only had a spotting day last period and it was random so I just don’t know what to tell the OB for an “accurate” due date. What do you guys think? Thanks!!

Tell her when you last period started but also make sure you tell her about your irregular cycle. In my experience longer cycles push back due dates I was able to go 41+6 weeks with my last lo because of that and he came on his own no interventions needed

Explain what you did here... they can do a US to check for sure. They did for me as I had a very light period the cycle before and dark positive on day of presumed missed period. The scan confirmed

They'll give you an ultrasound.
 My cycles are long and i ovulated late the cycle i got pregnant. My due date was changed from 4/11/20 (based on LMP) to 4/20/20 (based off conception date)
I've had to go to a growth scan every 4 weeks because of the difference but i get pictutes of my little boy every time which is a plus

Just say you don't know & they'll likely give you an ultrasound instead to figure out your due date.

I would just tell her when it was because honestly they’ll measure the baby so the due date will change. Mind did and I’m regular and knew when I￼ ovulated
