Sketchy shaving?

Let me start this off by saying I have ZERO problem with personal hygiene prefrences.

My boyfriend had sent me a picture of him sitting on the toilet (gross but he’s a guy so what do you expect lol) and it didn’t show much other than his leg/stomach but I could faintly see his area. I noticed it was shaved.

Mind you, I have zero problems with him wanting to experiment or whatever it may be. That’s his body, his choice.

He’s been working out of town a lot lately and we don’t currently live together. He has cheated on me in the past so it could be my insecurities playing a role in this.

He’s never shaved before when we’ve been together. I guess he just didn’t feel the need/want to. But all of a sudden, he starts doing it. I asked him “did you shave?” He said “I did it as a joke to see what you would say.” But that makes no sense because we don’t send “nudes” and won’t be seeing each other for a while.

Could he just be exploring something new? I know I sound somewhat crazy but I’m not obsessing over this. I just found it out of his normal routine and I’m curious.
