Chlamydia ? Does it affect fertility ?

Can having chlamydia in the past affect your chances of becoming pregnant? 
About 3-4 years ago when I was pregnant with my first on my first dr appointment I had found out I had chlamydia, so it was treated ASAP & I’ve been trying to conceive my 2nd and I’ve had no luck. 
I’m not sure if this std affected me .

Go back for another std test to make sure it didn't pop up again.

I recently found out from my fertility doctor that have chlamydia increases your risk for ectopic pregnancy but other than that she didn’t mention it affecting anything else. Praying for you BFP and a healthy pregnancy.

If you had it and it went untreated for a while then it’s possible to affect fertility but I would talk to your doctor

I am happy someone brought this topic up. A few years ago while dating my ex he cheated on me and I got it to! I didnt know while I was dating my current boyfriend in the beginning since I didnt show any signs and went got tested and treated at least a month after knowing; my boyfriend went and got checked as well. I went to the doctors last August and everything checked out negative and fine😊 She told me to go for it and everything look great! But I still keeping the samething since I did read about it can do something to your fallopian tubes.

It can affect your fallopian tubes. Start taking vitamin C that's supposed to help unclog fallopian tubes. I would still bring it up to your doctor because your tubes can get clogged from the STD but it also get clogged for other reasons.
