How much does your relationship change over the years? I understand the puppy love fades and stuff. But I’m currently at my parents house as my bf (of 2 years) is gone for work and I didn’t feel like staying at home. My dad was (In my opinion) being mean towards my step mom while she was complaining about work telling her to shut up and saying he doesn’t give a fuck. (This is something that happens a lot) Later on they get in a argument and he just locks her out of the bedroom. She comes down stairs and says that some point my bf will talk to me like that when he doesn’t wanna hear what I’m talking about and it won’t hurt my feelings.

Does anyone agree with this? Am I wrong for thinking this is odd?
