I got an appointment as soon as I called and said I have a positive urine test. We did the papa smear and all that jazz and also the ultrasound. Dr assured me it's ok if nothing is visible yet but the sack was there at 4 weeks so at least I could scratch the ectopic out of my 'to worry' list.
It's their job to see you right away even if you only suspect of pregnancy.

Depends on where you live. Where I am you only see your family Dr unless you’re high risk. 
I already had an appointment booked with her that morning for another reason, so I decided to test just in case.. bam, pregnant lol

i called the day i got a positive test, they had me come in for blood work to confirm but didn’t get an appointment till i was 8 weeks.

I called the day after and I’m scheduled for an appointment 4 weeks from the day I called .. so technically about 8 weeks pregnant
