Struggling to breathe?

So I'm sitting here, doing absolutely nothing and I noticed I'm having a harder time breathing, is this normal? My hands have also been randomly swelling but then it goes away? Should I call my doctor or get seen? Kind of worried it might be the start of preeclampsia because my last urine test I had lots of sugar in it. I will be 35 weeks Tuesday.

Right away. I would just go to the ER. Take this from a person who collapsed with a massive bilateral pulmonary embolism that was near fatal for both my daughter at myself during my last pregnancy. I was 25 weeks along. Immediately get checked out to be safe. Pulmonary Embolisms are called silent killers and shortness of breath is a huge symptom. You want to rule that out and get it addressed if it is. I ended up having to go through a major procedure and spent 10 days in the ICU. Please go to the ER.

Definitely call your doctor!
It could just be baby squishing your lungs though. Or my midwife told me at my last appointment that sometimes lack of iron can cause shortness of breath. But since you have swelling as well, I would definitely contact your doctor just to rule out anything more serious.

Can be normal I had that also and everything was fine but it’s always a good idea to let your dr know so they can retest if they need to

Also right before I collapsed I noticed my right leg immediately started swelling really badly. So you really need to get checked out. You could have a PE or a DVT somewhere that could break off into a PE.
