Foundation for EXTREMELY OILY skin?

Hey guys, I need help. My skin is naturally super oily but recently I feel like it’s getting worse and I don’t know why, I started using a foundation by Clinique a year ago and it was working, it didn’t break me out or anything but recently it makes my face extremely extremely oily so I really want to change it up. Any good recommendations? Also if you guys have oily skin you should recommend me a primer and the you whole skincare routine!

I'm in the same boat and have yet to find a foundation that wont be melting off my face when it gets oily however I have found that using the neutrogena shine control primer helps with the majority of the oil. The only problem I personally have with it is that the primer isnt transparent and leaves kinda a white finish on your face before putting on foundation.

I’ve also had really oily skin and have tried so many things. I’ve recently found a routine that’s been working great for me. After cleansing my face I’ll apply a light moisturizer or gel moisturizer. I’ve been using a mattifying primer that also has salicylic acid and then I’ll apply my foundation. I change up my foundation all the time but right now I’m using one from too faced that’s okay, it’s not my favorite. I might apply some concealer but usually don’t. Then I’ll use a setting powder either from Nars or makeup forever. Lastly, I’ll use a setting spray from urban decay that helps everything to stay and set it all in place. Good luck!

the thing i found that most helped my skin become less oily was a thorough cleansing and moisturizing routine (as funny as that sounds). using a gel moisturizer totally changed my skin game! i’ll never go back.
as for foundation the maybelline matte one is nice. for higher end i hear the fenty matte one is nice! i use the dewy version. :)
