I’ve had so much anxiety and issues with my mental health since breastfeeding but our little muppet is almost 3 months and I’ve managed to stick it out. 
When I was pregnant I wanted to breastfeeding until bub was 2 years old. Now it’s just my goal getting through every week! 💕

Nobody prepares you for how hard breastfeeding is. My first was so rough. I tried nursing for 8 weeks. She was so fussy. She was lip and tongue tied and I started to exclusively pump at 8 weeks. 
This baby has been so much easier. She has a good latch and efficient nursing. Yesterday was our hardest day as she refused to nurse. I got my period today so I assume that’s why. She’s back to normal today. I hope we stick it out till she is a year. I pump once a day or once every other day to have a freezer stash too.

I have pretty much stopped and I am trying to get my supply to dry up. I actually start work tomorrow and my job is so fast paced and intense it would be to stressful to try and pump at work. We made it 3 months which is more than with my other child.

Hang in there mama, you’re doing a great job! But don’t feel like you are doing any less if you need to supplement with some formula every now and then. Your mental health is more important than exclusively feeding your baby breast milk. 
I set out to EBF but after 6 weeks realized my baby was not getting enough to eat (gained no weight in 2 weeks) so we had to start supplementing with formula. I was so sad I wasn’t able to provide my baby with what she needed but also it was kind of a relief knowing I would be getting a little “break”. I pretty much exclusively pump now with one full morning feed and a few others hear and there. We feed her formula for 2 bottles and then a breast milk bottle, and repeat. It’s working well for us, mentally and physically we are all doing better. 
I know this wasn’t your exact issue but just thought I’d share my story in hopes it may help a little. You gotta do what’s best for your baby AND you.

Your baby needs you more than your breast milk! If it’s taking a toll on your mental health I would start weaning off and weaning on formula! Fed is best❤️ i breastfed my 1st for 2.5 months and it was wonderful but it was nice to have my body back after! I didn’t even try with my second because of how bad my PPD was and she’s perfectly healthy!

I've formula fed two of my girls. This time I managed to stick it out with my son. Lots of pain and crying but I told myself it gets easier and it really does and honestly it is so much easier then bottle feeding. I wish I held strong with my beautiful girls I feel so guilty they didn't get to have breast milk

I am and I love it!!! We had zero problems since day one and we are 16 weeks strong! He is such a good feeder and I only had clogged ducts once at the beginning!

My little girl was so fussy while I was breastfeeding her. Didn't want anyone but me (not even dad), didn't want to be put down, hardly napped, barely smiled, and never wanted to play. I love her with all my heart, but I was so tired and frustrated and it was getting to the point that I was depressed and resented having to hold her all the time. I put her on formula for half a day and saw such a complete change in those few hours that we never went back. Better to have happy baby and mama.

I followed the breastfeeding board my entire pregnancy. So I felt prepared for how difficult it was going to be but I feel grateful we've never had any issues apart from a bit of hypoglycemia and a clogged duct when my milk was coming in. My heart goes out to all the moms that struggle and the moms that can't nurse when they really wanted to.

Same but my son doesn’t have a good latch so I’m mostly pumping. It’s so hard I want to give up my goal is to 6 months. The military will give me time to pump if I want to go a year but honestly this is so stressful.
