2000mg of evening primrose oil vaginally every night. Doing something to my cervix?

Induction is only a week away and I was closed this past week. really hoping this is doing something for me!

All it does is soften your cervix. I staryed using it when my OB said I wouldnt make it to 40 weeks as ended up sending me in to be monitored at 35 weeks. By 37 I was 4cm and 80% effaced and delivered at 38 when I was admittedI was 5cm and 90% effaced.
