So my daughter is 5. She’s very shy (she gets that from me and plus I sheltered her a lot being my first so I take full responsibility)

she is in preK.

So far she has had 1 invite to a birthday party of a girl in her class at a park that I took her to. It wasn’t really awkward because it was in a public park and my best friend came so we just stayed to ourselves and talked 😂 (some couples/parents of kids were there who did this too)

Anyways she was invited to one today of another girl in her class. This one is at their house. I don’t have anyone who can go with me this time.

Like I said I’m not social AT ALL and I get uncomfortable af in situations where I don’t know anyone 😫 BUT I feel bad because I want my

Daughter to have these experiences and also what if none of the other kids show up and it’s one of those sad “no one came to my kids party” like you see on fb.

Would you just get over it and take your kid or find something else fun for just y’all to do ?
