How much would you say you spent on baby items?

I’m 33 weeks and haven’t bought ONE thing because I’ve been waiting on my tax refund. Lol so now that it’ll be here soon, I’m starting to think of what all I need/how much it’ll be. 
I have other kids but the circumstances were different and I was given a lot of things (baby shower) and had my children’s dads to help. 
I’m alone this time. I plan to just go in one day and knock it all out.

I budgeted about $2500 for all baby items I’ll need. I’m going to buy a lot of the furniture second hand as well as the clothing and then the rest mostly new but being a third time mom I know what I’ll need and what I can do without.

I'm big on buying used, especially for babies since they grow so fast. Check Once Upon a Child and the Next Door app for really good deals. Why don't you buy just the necessities right now and pick up what else you need as the need arises? You might surprise yourself with what you think you need but end up not needing and save yourself of money in the process.

Less than$500 including diapers, wipes and clothes. Have hand me downs, left overs and got a used double stroller.  Using a pack n play until my middle child transitions out of the crib.
