Reaction to Zoloft

So I went in to the doctors for possible PPD... he gave me 50mg of Zoloft to take once a day..

well, I had a BAD reaction to it..

It was the scariest moment of my life bcuz I was home alone with my baby...

I started shaking, my vision was shaky, I felt like I was about to pass out, my heart was beating uncontrollably... I felt like I was going to die...

The medication ended up being (from what the ER said) too high of a dose for how tiny I am (4’10 99Ib) so it affected me negatively which also resulted in a panic attack.

They said it also can have worsening affects before PPD can get better ...

The feeling I had was so scary that I called 911 bcuz I had no idea what was happening to me & I didn’t want anything happening to my baby if I passed out or anything else...

I’m so afraid to take it again. The doctor told me to cut the dose in half but I honestly don’t want to deal with what I went through again.

Has anyone else had a similar situation?
