I need some insight ladies
I’m not sure where else to post this but I know y’all won’t let me down in this group. So two of my coworkers are pregnant. One of which I am close with. I plan to not participate in the baby shower that my colleagues are throwing for them. But, I do plan to get my close colleague a gift..as I don’t really communicate with the other colleague. Here is the fun part—- my manager gets upset at me and projected a nasty attitude because I told
Her I’m not participating In the baby shower they are throwing. she just automatically expects me to put in my money towards a function I never agreed to. I have bills to pay and can’t donate money for a party plus get a baby a gift. My thing is was she out of line or am I being a party pooper? I didn’t even buy my own nephew a gift yet and his first birthday is this Saturday. So money can’t be tossed in the air just because. I also feel it’s none of her business where I spend my money and how I spend it.
