So I know I have a yeast infection. Called my OBGYN this morning and they had no same day sick appointments 😌 Called my primary doctor. (I always like to be seen because in the last I’ve never had the typical symptoms.)

Saw the Nurse Practitioner. He said they can’t do internal exams (would have been nice to know this when I called) so said he had to take my word for it. Ok, fine. Was having some tenderness in my bladder area during exam so did a urine culture. Negative for UTI. They made me do a pregnancy test so I can get the oral medicine for the yeast (I’ve never had that medicine before I guess it’s not allowed in pregnancy.) I explained that my period isn’t due for about 12 days and we aren’t necessarily *trying* but not preventing. I used OPKs in my most recent pregnancy. We aren’t using them right now but I’m following everything on Glow (I know not super accurate). We had sex the three days prior to ovulation (I was supposed to ovulate Saturday- again, according to the app). The pregnancy test was negative.... I’m fine if this isn’t the month but there’s no way IF I ovulated when the app said and one of those three days got me pregnant that anything would show up today, right (today is Monday)?!?! They did a urine test. I mean that’s suuupppeerr early. Do doctors offices have some super powered test, lol.
