Baby kicks hurt??

I’m 29 weeks 5 days and today his kicks have actually physically hurt. They’re low kicks, below my belly button but above my hips, and it’s just a quick pinch but it jumps me right out of what I’m doing. 
Is this normal for kicks to hurt??

Yes it can be normal. My baby kicks what feels like a nerve and it sends a shooting pain down the front of my leg. Mainly my right leg but occasionally my left.

For some women, yes. I’ve been crying and screaming in pain at certain points and my doctors told me I’ll just have to deal, nothing they can do. I’ve been having unbearable pain since 28 weeks. I’m 33 now.
