My ex wants to “hang out” on valentines???

So we have been broken up for maybe 2 and a half weeks? We ended things pretty mutually and we have still been talking as friends so no bad blood but he made it clear he’s not ready for a relationship. But he just asked me if I wanted to go to a movie with him and hang out on Friday, and I looked at my calendar and that’s Valentine’s Day.

Is this like a cruel joke lol??? Maybe he doesn’t realize that Friday is Valentine’s Day? He knows I’m still trying to see him as a friend right and this probably isn’t going to help?? I’m so confused lol. It could just be a coincidence he’s asking to hang on valentines right?
