Do you get your kids valentines gifts?

I got my 6 month old a plush from Walmart for $2.98 and my 8 year old a plush as well and some chocolate. I didn’t spend much this year since money is tight. What do you get your kids? Also what do you get your significant other? We used to go all out with valentines gifts for each other but since I’m on maternity leave I have hardly any $$. I told him this year let’s just do treats. I really hope he listens because if he gets more than just a treat for me I’ll feel bad. Would it be cheap of me to just fill a gift bag with all his favourite chocolate and candy?
