yeast infection or something else?

so I recently started having sex with this guy. he’s clean. but I just got a yeast infection so last night I went to buy Monistat 3. this morning I am burning and itching and it is so bad I am in tears. can someone please help me or something?

To prevent future infections I highly recommend a daily probiotic. Drink plenty of water. Wear cotton undies and try not to wear tight pants all the time. Sperm, lubes and lubes on condoms can all throw off your ph balance. Don’t use soaps or bubble baths and never ever douche. If I feel my ph balance is off I wash myself with baking soda. To help with your discomfort from burning/itching you can do an epsom salt and baking soda bath with lavender essential oil 👍🏻😉

I’ve also had a really bad reaction to monistat... swollen, itching and burning. I only use canesten now

That can also be a side effect of the monistat 😩 I usually do the 7 day because the 1 and 3 day usually don’t wipe it out totally + I always experience extreme itching like something’s crawling in there (tmi I know) can you call your dr and tell them your symptoms (usually when I do that they don’t even have to see me and can call me in a prescription!)
